By air
Indian Airlines, Air India and Jet Airways offer regular flights linking
Hyderabad with all major cities of India, including Delhi, Port Blair, Bangalore,
Mumbai, Ahmedabad, etc.
By rail
Hyderabad has an extensive rail networks connecting to both important cities
within the state and also other major cities up-country, including Bangalore,
Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai, etc. Secunderabad is the main
railway station, located very close to the Hyderabad city center.
By road
Hyderabad is well connected to the rest of India by the National Highway No.7
and 9. There are bus services of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation
or private operator linking to all centers in the region.
Getting around Hyderabad
The most common modes of intra-city travel are auto-rickshaws and taxis. Autos
are a lot cheaper than taxis.
